“Bank of China Trophy” Global Management Challenge 2023 - Macao Regional Final was Held Successfully
Organized by Macau Management Association (MMA) and title sponsored by BOC Macau, the “Bank of China Trophy” Global Management Challenge 2023 - Macao Regional Final concluded with great success on 12th January, 2024 at MMA Seminar Room.There were total of 106 teams participated at the Regional Competition which consisted of 93 student teams and 13 corporate and mixed teams from local tertiary institutions, banks, public service sectors, etc. After two rounds of elimination, the 8 finalist teams competed for the Champion title of Macao Regional Final.
The competition simulates situations such as the cooperation among departments and external competition of a company. Participants are able to learn how to manage and operate a listed company in the virtual business environment, understand and engage with different business model in which modern management is in practice. This competition has a positive effect on fostering local managers. After nearly 3 months of intense competition, the team “Earnnnnmoney” from Macao Polytechnic University was crowned the Champion of GMC Macao Region and will represent Macao to compete with other countries and regions in the International Final which will take place in New Delhi, India this year.
