Organized by MMA and title sponsored by Bank of China (Macau) Limited, “Bank of China Trophy” Global Management Challenge 2024 Regional Final Prize Presentation Dinner concluded successfully on January 10. After two rounds of eliminations in two and a half months, the 8 top-ranked teams competed for the Regional Champion title among the 89 teams on January 7, and the student team “Miracle” from Macau University of Science and Technology eventually crowned the Champion, while the 1st and 2nd Runners-up went to student team “MuscleCat” and "Abstract" from Macau University of Science and Technology.

The Prize Presentation Dinner was held at Grand Ballroom 8/F, StarWorld Hotel. Mr. Lau Veng Seng, Council Chairman of MMA, said in his speech, originated in Europe in 1980, GMC has captivated over 700,000 participants across more than 30 countries and regions. As the organizer for the Macao regional event, MMA aims to cultivate systematic thinking and rapid decision-making abilities among managers, enhancing local management standards and aligning with international practices. Since 1996, MMA has developed numerous young talents who compete with participants from over 30 countries, showcasing Macao's professional management capabilities.

There are total of 89 teams participated in the Global Management Challenge 2024 Macao Region, including 85 student teams and 4 corporate teams. They are mostly from universities and institutions as well as business elites from banking industries and public sectors. The champion, 1st and 2nd runners-up were all crowned by teams from Macau University of Science and Technology. The winning team of the Macao Regional Final “MuscleCat” will represent Macao to participate in the International Final which will be held in Macao this year. They will compete for the world championship title with elites from other countries and regions in the International Final.
